Is fcmn really free?
Yes. The CLI and all core features are MIT licensed and free forever. We believe developer tools should be open source. Future premium features will be optional add-ons.
Do I need an API key?
No. fcmn works completely offline. It uses template-based generation, not LLM calls. Your code never leaves your machine.
What AI tools does fcmn support?
Currently Claude Code (CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, skills, hooks). Support for Cursor, Copilot, and Windsurf is on the roadmap.
