Terms of Service
Last updated — February 2026
Acceptance
By using fcmn (the CLI tool, website, or any associated services), you agree to these terms. If you're using fcmn on behalf of an organization, you're agreeing on their behalf. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
The Service
fcmn is an open-source CLI tool that auto-detects your tech stack and generates personalized AI agent configuration files (CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, skills, hooks). The CLI runs locally on your machine and does not require an account, API key, or internet connection.
Open Source License
The fcmn CLI is released under the MIT License. You are free to use, modify, and distribute it in accordance with that license. The full license text is included in the source repository.
Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for reviewing and customizing the generated configuration files before committing them to your project. Generated configs are starting points — always verify they match your project's requirements and security standards.
Alpha Disclaimer
fcmn is currently in alpha. The software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Features may change, break, or be removed without notice. Generated configurations should be reviewed before use. We do not guarantee compatibility across versions during the alpha period.
Intellectual Property
You own all configuration files generated by fcmn. The fcmn brand, website, documentation, and templates are owned by us. The CLI source code is available under the MIT License. Nothing in these terms transfers IP rights from either party.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, fcmn is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the software or generated configurations. This includes but is not limited to issues caused by AI agent behavior based on generated configs.
Changes
We may update these terms as the project evolves. Significant changes will be communicated via the changelog or GitHub releases. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
